- Wednesday, February 27: Reflection in Community Service-Learning. Margo Fryer, founding Director of the UBC Learning Exchange, Assistant Professor in the School of Community and Regional Planning, and Director of the UBC-Community Learning Initiative, discussed the purposes of reflection, effective reflection strategies, as well as common challenges. Dr. Susan Nesbit, professor of civil engineering and three graduate students from the School of Community and Regional Planning also joined in the conversation. - Registration for this series will be open approximately two weeks prior to each event and will be announced through the national listserv.
- Upon registration, dial-in instructions will be sent via email.
- There is no registration fee for the CACSL tele-learning events; however, participants are responsible for their long-distance charges.
- Long distance charges are "per line", so please invite colleagues and partners to listen to the event together through the use of speaker phones.
- These events will be simultaneously translated to make them accessible to both anglophones and francophones.
