Community Service-Learning (CSL) Specialist*
The CSL specialist acts as the “bridge” among all CSL partners—faculty/staff, community organization staff, and students.
Role: Primary liaison for CSL partners
Responsibilities:
- Understands the needs of both community service agencies and the college/university
- Assists with course/program development and service placement
- Handles situations involving people from diverse backgrounds and with differing interests
- Evaluates ongoing CSL partnerships
- Explores possibilities for new CSL partnerships on campus and in the community
