An effective CSL partnership in benefits from clear roles and responsibilities.
- Community service-learning (CSL) specialist—acts as the “bridge” among CSL partners—faculty/staff, community organization staff, and students.
- Faculty and/or staff —represents the college/university and its requirements.
- Community organization staff member(s)—represents the organization and its requirements.
- Students—augment their academic learning by getting hands-on experience in real-world situations while also contributing to the community.
